About Us

eTutors Project is a non-profit tutoring network that aids students in this time by providing access to tutors who will assist students with school work in free one-on-one online help sessions. All of our tutors are volunteers, ranging from senior high school students to university students and qualified teachers.

For volunteers, we provide a stable and flexible platform for volunteering as all tutoring is done online and times are based on your availability. Volunteering with us is also a great way to develop your skills and gain experience, especially if you are pursuing a related career!

What we do

We connect Kindergarten to Year 9 (K-9) students who would benefit from extra help to dedicated volunteer tutors for free tutoring sessions.

We work with students who may not be able to afford tutoring otherwise AND require additional help because they:

  • Are finding school work more difficult compared to their peers
  • Experience difficulties learning due to language barriers
  • Have a learning disability, eg. dyslexia
  • Experience difficulties when learning due to a condition, eg. ADHD
  • Have fallen behind at school due to long periods of absence from school.

Our tutors are able to assist students with K-9 English, Mathematics and Science, in addition to reading help for K-2 students.

Tutoring sessions will be one hour in length and conducted weekly, however this can be modified to suit individual needs. Lessons are conducted on Google Meet, with lesson materials uploaded through Google Classroom. Once signed up, students and parents will be able to access our database of tutors and contact the tutor that they feel best suited to their needs.
